Literature Text

The age of the plunder is fading,
The navy is taking the sea.
They're hunting us down as we're raiding,
But pirates can only die free.

Their gunners are ready and aiming,
The man-o'-wars show us their might.
The rule of the oceans they're claiming,
So give them the ultimate fight.

We're hoisting the brotherhood's banners,
The skull and the crossbones they fear.
We show them the buccaneer's manners
And into the battle we steer.

The sky and the waters are blazing,
Like thunder the powder explodes.
All circles of hell we are raising,
For this is the end of all roads.

So damn all the honor and glory
And damn all the wealth and the gold.
We're ending this gruesome and gory
And none of you dogs will get old.

We're flying the flags of the brothers,
Ol' Roger is grinning like death.
We perish, but unlike the others
We're free till our very last breath.
Arrr, me hearties! It's this time again! :ahoy:

Pirate talk for landlubbers: "Man-o'-war" was the british navy term for a heavy battleship, often with multiple cannon decks.

Update 16. May 2017: Made a major overhaul and remade basically the whole thing. :D
